The story

Two lives that seemed destined never to cross become bound together far more deeply than one could imagine. She is a psychologist accustomed to unraveling the feelings and hidden motives of others; he is a police commissioner used to relying on facts rather than emotions. Their relationship evolves into a complex game where intimacy gives way to estrangement and trust to doubt, and where a new secret may lie hidden behind every revelation.
